These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of ReTranslate (the "Service"), a multi-language translation web application. You agree to be bound by these Terms by accessing or using the Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
1.1 Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. Using the Service, you represent and warrant meeting this age requirement.
1.2 Account Registration: To access certain features, you must create an account and provide accurate, up-to-date information. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for keeping your password confidential.
2.1 Subscription Plans: We offer monthly and annual subscription plans. While your subscription is active, you may use the Service without limitations.
2.2 Payment Processing: All payments are handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to comply with Stripe's terms and conditions. We do not store your payment card details.
2.3 Renewals and Cancellations: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time through your account settings, but no refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods.
3.1 Lawful Use: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
3.2 Prohibited Activities: You must not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service, introduce harmful code, violate the rights of others, or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise objectionable behavior.
3.3 Use of YouTube API Services: If you choose to use any features of the Service that incorporate or interact with YouTube API Services, you acknowledge and agree that you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. By using such YouTube-related features, you confirm your acceptance of the YouTube Terms of Service in addition to these Terms.
4.1 Our Content: The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, and other materials, is our property or licensed to us. You receive no ownership or license rights other than a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service as intended.
4.2 User Content: By submitting text or content for translation, you represent that you own or have the right to use that content. You grant us a non-exclusive license to process and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
5.1 Storage of Translations: We store your translation history to enhance your user experience. You may delete your translation history at any time.
5.2 Account Deletion: You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data and translation history as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
The Service does not display third-party advertisements. We do not share your data with advertisers.
7.1 Global Use: The Service is available worldwide, but you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with local laws.
7.2 Compliance: We comply with all applicable privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and COPPA. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
We may modify, update, or discontinue the Service, including any features or functionalities, at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from these actions.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of translations or the continuous availability of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or your use of the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date indicates when revisions were made. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
