- Payment Information: Stripe, a third-party payment processor, processes all payments. We do not store your payment card details; Stripe handles payment card information in compliance with applicable standards.
- Translation History: We store the text you input for translation and the translated results on our servers to enable you to view and manage your past translations. You may delete this history at any time.
- Usage Data: We may collect non-personal information such as browser type, operating system, IP address, and access times to improve the Service's performance and user experience.
- YouTube API Data: When you use YouTube-related features we fetch video IDs, titles, descriptions, channel ID, channel name, and profile picture, strictly to perform translations.
- OAuth Tokens: Encrypted Google OAuth access and refresh tokens stored server-side so we can call the YouTube Data API on your behalf.
- Cookies / Local Storage: First-party, secure cookies or equivalent local storage used only for session management and to hold encrypted OAuth tokens. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Service Provisioning: To provide unlimited translation services during your monthly or annual subscription period.
- Account Management: To manage your account, process subscription fees, and communicate with you regarding account updates or issues.
- Service Improvements: To improve our user experience, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop new features.
- YouTube API Usage: We verify channel ownership, retrieve channel name/profile picture, fetch current video metadata for translation, and publish translated titles & descriptions (including your chosen visibility setting) using the YouTube Data API.
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal requests, including GDPR, COPPA.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the EU/EEA, our legal basis for processing your data includes:
- Contractual Necessity: Providing the Service you signed up for.
- Legitimate Interests: Improving our Service, ensuring IT security, and fraud prevention.
- Consent: Where required by law, such as sending certain promotional communications.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

- Translation History: Stored until you delete it or close your account.
- Fetched YouTube metadata: Not stored; held only in memory during your active session and discarded immediately afterward.
- OAuth Tokens: Encrypted Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect YouTube or close your account.
- Other Data: Retained as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.
7. Your Rights
- Access & Correction: You may access and correct your personal information anytime.
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data, including translation history, anytime.
- Objection & Restriction: Under GDPR, you may object to or request restriction of certain data processing activities.
- Data Portability: You can request a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Revoke Google Access: If you have granted access to your Google account (e.g., for YouTube features), you can revoke this permission at any time in your Google security settings page: Google Security Settings.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no online transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to servers outside your country of residence. We comply with relevant data transfer laws and ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place.
10. Third-Party Services
- Payment Processing (Stripe): Stripe handles all payment and subscription information in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
- YouTube API Services: Our Service integrates with YouTube API Services to enable certain translation-related features.
